KONG Kickeroo Pattern #2 Catnip Cat Toy, Cow Review
My Maine Coin kitty love to kick things (balls, stuffed animals, and the other cat), when I first open it, she start kicking in immediately. Then the catnip attact my 10 yrs old cat, which never kick before, but once she got her hand on the Kickeroo, she kick for her first time.
The Kickeroo is a nice made, it's big, and long enough for the cat to hold around, and the material is strong for the cats to bite and shake around. I don't have any shed on the black tail yet (been played for 1 week), and the white ribbon I think it just for decoration, it is not attach to the toy in any way, my cat kick it out the first time.
Overall, my cats and I love this toy, and will buy again.

The first thing I wanted to mention is how BIG this is. Even having watched reviewer LKP's video, I didn't the Kickeroo would be so large. If you include the Kickeroo tail, it's almost as long as my cat. As far as my cat taking to it, she gave it a sniff or two due to the catnip inside but never plays with it. She does, however use it as a pillow to rest against when sleeping.
I knew I was taking a chance with this item as my cat likes small items like these toy mice) and is generally fearful of large toys. Your cats may have a similar reaction if they act the same way.

I bought this toy for my 2 older cats who are only interested in things for only a few minutes it seems..
I bought this just to see if its something they might like...
They were not interested in it right away--- took an hour or so then they both took turns-- kicking and attacking it
Was pretty funny to watch... We have had it for a few weeks-- they do still play with it from time to time- but it seems their attitudes totally change when they play with it-- more angry it seems--- might be the catnip inside- but they dont react that way to other catnips. But they do keep going back for it and they seem to enjoy it-

I bought a Tiger Kickeroo for my kitty as a Christmas present but he wouldn't leave the Amazon box alone so I finally had to give in and give it to him. He pounced on it immediately and the frenzy of excitement went on for hours. It is now 6 months later and he takes his naps with it every day. It is definitely his best friend.
