WOULD BE HIGHER RATING BUT FOR THE CRAZY NONSENSICAL SHAPE OF THIS TOY - JON IN L.A. - West Hollywood, CA
I didn't know what the toy was supposed 'to be' from the picture and EVEN MORE UNSURE after it arrived.

Fairly tough and durable, but the crazy shape (which was neither here nor there from my dog's perspective) made absolutely no 'human sense' and if anything, the shape made it more difficult to toss, didn't go as far, and went in a totally unpredictable direction.

My APBT did like it a lot and got higher than average use out of it before total destruction (he destroys all of his toys).

Tuffy's Ultimate Bowmerang Dog Toy, Yellow Bones Review

We just bought our second one of these because our dog wore out the first one, but it took him nine months to chew through one of its three arms. He's a Schnoodle and weighs seventeen pounds. He's a hard chewer who will go though ordinary toys in an hour, so we were really happy when we found this line of toys. We also own the flying disk (still not ruined after nine months) and the bone (too big for him but he loves it and it's still intact). This boomerang though is his favorite. He likes us to throw it and it has a somewhat frisbee-like (or numchuck?) throw. And he plays tug of war with it. Sometimes though he just likes to sit or lie there and chew on it and shake it with the squeakers squeaking. There something about the fuzzy texture that he also seems to like because he'll sleep with it between his paws, resting his head on it.

I own a toy by this maker, however it is in the shape of a Doughnut. It is rated a 9 on their tuff scale and my hound dog had the squeakers out in 1 hour......14.00 dollars is a lot to spend for 1 hour of entertainment.

I love Tuffies toys, they last so much longer than most toys last with my pooches. I like the boomeragn and disc forms because they are not filled with a bunch of stuffing that will be spread all over my house at some point. And it really does float.

My puppy ribbed the inseam wide open after just playing it the first time. And she is only 5-month old.
The quality is pretty bad, considering it is from Kong. I am very disappointed.
Don't waste you money. They make better rubber toys. But when it comes to frabric toys, they suck big time. I had the same bad expereince with their squeaky tennis ball bone toy. My older dog just tore up the whole thing after a couple times.

A friend with a Golden Retriever like mine recommended this toy. It is a gem. My dog plays with it all day long. It is pretty torn up at this point, but still has a lot of life left in it. It is highly recommended for those with large breed 'chewers'.... if only I'd gotten it sooner maybe I wouldn't have lost those 0 sandals.

I got this toy for my 10 month old lab because he is an aggressive chewer. In 15 minutes he had taken it completely apart and was eating it. I really expected a much stronger dog toy from KONG.
